Where to start...?

I grew up in a small town in a rural part of the USA. Since I was about 6 I knew I wanted to see the world, but due to being a child I didn't have the opportunity to ever leave North America until I was 18. Now that I'm an adult, I take every possible opportunity to learn different cultures, which I find is easiest to achieve through travel!

I spent two non-consecutive years living and studying in Germany as an exchange student. Who knew a culture so similar to my own could be so different?

After graduating from college back in the States, I went on to work in an office. It pays the bills - and by 'the bills' I mean my crazy travel plans!
