About Me

CURRENT MISSION

You know, what's right for you. Dare to listen.

ABOUT ME

I love to be silly. Alone and with others. I love to be still. Alone and with others. I love to sing, loudly. And silently. Alone and with others.
Trees and stones make me happy.

Is this anything special? This question is not important, but shows, that I am quite lost in having to describe myself. So...
Let`s see what live brings and live some good stories,
with a song and a banana-hat and a raindrop and a sunbeam on your skin....

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is an opportunity to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host and be hosted!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh so many good stories. I had a lot of great stays in Germany, in Slovenia, in China, in Austria.

I like hosting aswell, but I use to live in shared flats, so it always depends a little on how my roommates are doing with work and time. But in Heidelberg as well as now in Zurich we had some great evenings with people from all over the world. I like the feeling of worlds colliding...

Music, Movies, and Books

mmmh, movies... Don´t have seen too many, actually. Oh, yeah: Snow cake. Amazing Sigourney Weaver. Into the wild.
Music: I love it rocky, but also klezmer or other world music, traditional african music for example. Try "lambarena - bach to africa. Mumford and sons. Music with beautiful lyrics: Dota und Band.
Books: Oh, the titles in english... Yeah, but I know one I loved: The god of small things by Arundhati Roy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

India. Hiking in the pyrenees. Viewing the clouds falling down into the neckar-valley. Dancing in a camping-bus. Talking for hours to people I met the first time in my life 5 minutes before. Singing all those songs I love around the fire in the middle of the forest on one of our hiking-weekends with my friends. Waking up in the forest at 6 o´clock in the morning, go for a walk and watch the sun come trough the trees. Eating tons of mushrooms we found ourselves. Really tons. Having a spontanious picnic with my dad whom I meet only every few months. Coming home to our old house, walking though the garden, picking apples from the trees. Going for a walk with my mum. Getting an sms from my brother. Meeting people whom I would love to found our own living-community-farm in maybe 15 years. Sleeping at the beach in spain. Tellings stories in a mongolian tent at a german Christmas market for 70 little children, all cuddled in blankets, hugging Dragons (cuddled toys). Standing on a mountainpass in Himalaya, watching the eagles fly over miles of grassland. Sleep between a waterfall, coming from a glacier and a lake wich is surrounded by thousands of those colourful prayer flags used in the Himalayan regions. Sit on my bike on the way home, thinking, that it´s way too late at night, but all worth it and listening to the birds confirming that;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I´d like to learn so much... more about climbing, songs, practice guitar... stop tinking to much before doing something...
Teach? Take note of the little things and be. Stand and stare. In the Moment. Watch the sun play between the leaves. Breath.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The same as with guests: time and space and thoughts and - no, let's put it this way: Openness for the moment. Let's just see what we need and make the best out of it. No moment is the same.
