Overview
About Me
Brand spanking new to couch surfing.
I’m a 31 year old, poly, queer, trans man. I am currently employed by Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS Service organization where I collaborate with unhoused youth to help them find homes and become self-sustainable.
Fully vaccinated and respectful of social distancing practices.
I’ve got one cat, Oberon, king of the fairies, who I swear I birthed myself. He’s my pride and joy. I used to do reenactments of said birth for my ex and then he divorced me. His loss.
When I’m not working, I’m climbing. Climbing is very near and dear to my heart. It forces me to stay present and in my body, especially during times when my body didn’t always feel like home. Whenever I have the time, I try to make it down to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky to climb outside. If I’m not climbing, I’m hanging out with friends and loved ones. Community is super important to me. I’ve learned so much about who I am and the love I am capable of thanks to my friends and partners. Constantly learning and expanding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love all kinds of music from folk to punk rock to classical to pop to death metal to country. Music is about feeling. Currently on a big Sylvan Esso, Remi Wolf, Days N Daze, Alkaline Trio, and Two Door Cinema kick.
Movies: Obsessed with Miyazaki movies. My favorite is Spirited Away. Really big into animated movies, international films, and documentaries.
Books: One of my first loves of my young life was reading. My mom read the first Harry Potter book to my sister and I and it sparked my love of reading. Into all kind of literature. Have been reading a lot of non-fiction lately. Just finished “Many Love,” and working on “Love at Dawn” and “Detransition, Baby.”
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I climbed a 150 foot tall route, and then rappelled off of two ropes tied together in what’s called a “European death knot. It was fine, I think… Had a great time and lived to tell the tale, and that’s all that matters.
Teach, Learn, Share
Looking to learn more about other cultures, ways of living, and life experiences that differ from mine. Happy to trade knowledge of skills for other skills. Also love to just swap stories.
