About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be able to tell some amazing stories.

ABOUT ME

Hey :)

I'm a currently a student from sunny Adelaide, Australia that's on exhange in the less-sunny Norwich, UK. Once I'm unchained from my desk I plan to take full advantage of my dual citizenship to Ireland and see as much of Europe as I possibly can before being transported back to the biggest island that couldn't be further from ANYWHERE if it tried. Ha.

PHILOSOPHY

Ob-la-di, Ob-li-da
Life goes on, Brah!
Lalala how the life goes on

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm just looking for a place to meet new people cause I find hostels a little hard to meet people cause everyone tends to be a bit guarded. Oh, and I love finding out the little quirks and nooks of a city that lie behind the big tourist attractions - like the alternative bars, resturants, cafes or the little record shop tucked away down the side streets.
At the moment I have a very small room in a 12-person student flat but there is room for a mattress. And when I get back to Australia I plan to show other people our little cafes, shops and bars that the average vistor doesn't get to see

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, unfortuneatly. But I have had the lovely company of a few friends from home, a Brit and a Norweigan share my bedroom floor which kinda makes me qualified.

Interests

The usual: books, movies, TV series on DVD you can loose an entire day to, sleeping (thats a big one), the sunshine, dancing, burlesque culture, travelling (oh-so-cliche!), eating amazing food and the first few hours of meeting someone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Beatles, Madness, Against Me!, Tiger Army, Mad Sin, Dropkick Murphys, The Living End, Bouncing Souls, Capdown, AAA, Cure, Frank Zappa, Johnny Cash, Portishead, Rolling Stones, Stray Cats, Sublime... lots and lots :)

Movies: I'll most likely watch anything once. I prefer watching them with someone else, it's kinda lonely watching a movie by yourself...

Books: Biographys, mostly. Or people's personal accounts of historical events, situations or eras. I love learning about other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through the mountains in Bergen, Norway on the way to the snowfields, passing crooked houses on hills, black glossy lakes at the bottom of cascading waterfalls only to be greeted by an amazing 10ft of snow that streteched beyond the huuuuman imagination (much like the Tundra, har har) is something that I will never, ever forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

'Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.'
Ever since my dad told me that I've been looking forward to getting older.

On a more practical level I can make a mean spaghetti bolognase (vegetarian or carnivorous) that I love sharing!

I haven't aquired a party trick yet, which is something I hope to learn on my travels!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Norway, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Ireland, United Kingdom
