ABOUT ME

From a small beach town in the South West of England, I have been luck to see a lot of the world, I'm not currently available to travel as much so would love to meet other travellers instead.

In the past few years I have spent time in North Vietnam, Tanzania, a lot of Europe, the States, and Canada.
I love exploring and doing everything from the uber touristy to going hiking far off the beaten track. Love meeting new people but am just as happy finding my way around a city independently :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed my way through the States and Canada, some via the website, some not, and it was absolutely amazing! I'm happy returning the favour for any travellers who need a couch for the night.

Intereses

I love reading, languages, monopoly, coffee, animals, the sea, travelling, and just experiencing new things.

Música, películas y libros

I'll read everything from Adichie to Rothfuss, doing a PhD in history and literature but definitely not a book snob.

Love most music, all the usually stuff.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hiking and staying in Sapa with locals was absolutely amazing. I got to help in a school there, see an annual school concert, also a witness a sacrifice and learn about the Hmong tribe traditions concerning marriage whilst one of my hosts taught me all about local plants and herbs.

Living in NYC was pretty surreal...but definitely amazing.

Making friends with locals in Arusha, and that one girl's family who shared the tiniest of homes between 7 people would make me an incredible feast and make a show of giving me presents everytime I visited.

Getting lost in the mountains in Montenegro, but still making it to the peaks.

Love meeting people who can teach me more about the world and different cultures, people who can recommend great places to travel and great books to read. I love that each language has different words for actions that don't exist in other cultures, because every culture has a different way of seeing the world and I think it's so exciting to try and see the world through another person's eyes.
