Overview
About Me
A friendly Zimbabwean living in London, hoping to explore the world and meet some amazing people along the way!
I love to learn - about new people, places, cultures - I moved to the UK when I was 18 to study Psychology, and fell in love with London when I moved down for work after that. It seems I can’t get enough of the books, so I’m now working in London and studying law part time.
Because of my studies, my travels are limited this year to long weekends, so I would love to experience new places through the eyes of someone who can point me in the right direction to make the most of their city! Very happy to have a call or chat further via messaging 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whether you just want to make new friends in unexplored lands, believe in reciprocal altruism, or have always depended on the kindness of strangers, couch surfing is a bloody brilliant idea.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is pretty wide ranging, from classical (I play the cello) to cheesy, country to musical theatre...etc
Last book I read: Kafka on the Shore - Murakami. I’m also listening to Stephen Fry (re-)read me Harry Potter on Audible at the moment. THE most relaxing thing
Movies: I love a classic romcom (e.g. When Harry Met Sally, Notting Hill), a psychological thriller (e.g. Silence of the Lambs), a good documentary (anything by David Attenborough, Icarus, Dawn Wall, The Vietnam War, Tell Me Who I Am, etc), an animation (The Road to Eldorado, How to Train Your Dragon), the list goes on...
Podcasts: I’m a big fan of a podcast - my favourite would have to be No Such Thing as a Fish (run by the QI Elves)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing above the clouds at the top of Kilimanjaro was pretty amazing. A peak moment in my life for sure
