Overview
About Me
I am a mechanical engineer, who works from home. I just moved back to the area where I grew up in Scotland as its a nice area in terms of landscape and also much cheaper than England !
I like running and cycling and read a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have only recenly moved the area and currently live alone, which is a bit boring for me at the moment and it would be nice to meet some new people even if they are just passing through.
Interests
I play classical spanish guitar, as well as the electric guitar. I cycle at least ever week if not more when the weather is good. I`m not really a huge party animal so dont really go out drinking and clubbing, prefer chilling with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like classical music, electronic music (mostly trance music) and also Jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once cycled 550km from England to Scotland in 33hours without sleep on a bike with only one gear for charity!
(I`m not fit enough to repeat that at present...)

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer tips on where to visit, advice on where to eat food and so on. If I happen to have a lot of time when you visit I could possibly drive you to some local points of interest - but that depends on my work commitments at the time you stay. The bed is an IKEA sofa-bed in the main living room which pulls out to be reasonably large, kitchen facilities are free for you to use if you bring your own food. I have a fridge of course.
