About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm looking to spread my wings and fly. Cliche; sure. True; even more so. I have lived in the same neighborhood for 20 years now, I am ready to move on.
ABOUT ME
I'm just a regular guy finishing up my graduate degree at George Mason University. I have a beard and have been told that I'm funny. A jack of all trades and always interested in things just off the beaten path I bring a lot to the table, but I'm sure you could already tell.
PHILOSOPHY
Social liberal, economic conservative. I'm more libertarian in nature than a lot of people I know. The world is no longer black and white but a strong shading of grey. I work for the pleasure of providing for myself, making myself better at a skill, and for the ability to grow.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of fiction. I like everything from sci-fi to the classics to philosophical works. With over 500 books on my bookshelf I have a bit of a problem but I don't mind because there's nothing better than a good book. Favorite authors include Andre Norton, Ayn Rand, Haruki Murakami, and Khalil Gibran.
Movies are something that I really enjoy but I don't watch them just for the sake of watching them. I like to find real movies, ones with actual plots and believable writing. Favorites include A Streetcar Named Desire, Midnight in Paris, Mary and Max, Blazing Saddles, Star Wars, Howl's Moving Castle
Music is a joy and I listen to it nonstop. There is hardly a time that I don't have some sort of radio on around me, I actually find it difficult to concentrate without it. Finding myself listening mostly to electronic music as I work I take time specifically to delve into funk and alternative rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving has been the single greatest thing I have ever done with my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a pretty competent cook and good with animals. I've worked doing home repairs so I might be able to help there.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Curaçao, Mexico
