About Me

I studied Journalism at the Pontifical Catholic Univeristy of Chile, and was graduated in 2009 from a German school.

Right now I'm working for a "defeating theft" company named Prey, which helps people recovering their phones and computers whenever missing or stolen.

I love playing guitar, piano, singing, and one of my craziest dreams is to become a truly artist and to do this for a living. Right now I'm studying a little bit of bass. I LOVE IT. I THINK IT'S ONE OF THE AWESOMEST INSTRUMENTS IN THE WORLD. My music taste is pretty varied, but I specially love triphop, alternative rock, progressive rock, grunge, and rock of all kinds.

I wish traveling was free, because nobody would ever see me again, haha.

I love learning about almost everything. In fact, because of my job, I'm more and more interested in learning how to program, and I swear I will. My lessons start on Tuesday :)

I consider myself a very nice person, I love to live my life happily, and keep busy. As long as my schedule makes this possible, I'll be pleased to show you some interesting places of my city :)

It has been two months since I've moved in with a friend to a pretty cool and peaceful neighborhourhood, and we are very glad living there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that this may be the best way of knowing new people from different countries and cultures :D. I'm a very social person, who loves hanging out with new and foreign people, sharing experiences, food, activities, and points of view.

Interests

I love music, and I play guitar a lot. I'm also singing the most part of the day, when I'm not at work. I love horse riding, bicycling, having some drinks at a bar with friends, going to the beach, walking and eating a lot.

I love animals. I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM. Aaaand, I have a cat, that is practically my son. So, if you don't like cats, I'm terribly sorry, but he's the king at home! I don't expect you to caress him if you are not willing to, but to treat him right :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOOOOOVE Stephen King and John Katzenbach books. There's something really catchy on those suspense stories, and you just can't leave them until you've finished them.

I also like Ken Follet's writing. He's amazing.

My favorite music: Whoa, I could be here writing 'til tomorrow. Interpol, Muse, Gustavo Cerati, The Killers, Pearl Jam, Editors, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, The Beatles, The Hives, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, are just a few bands I like.

I also like watching movies and sitcoms. My favorite ones are those which involve psychological aspects, such as Memento, The Jacket, A Beautiful Mind, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that traveling to Germany for an exchange with a completely strange family has been one of my greatest experiences. I was 17, and didn't know much about life, so, that trip taught me a lot about independence, and I also could see with my own eyes how huge this crazy world is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently teaching a friend how to play the guitar, and how to sing. And I love it. So, it would be my pleasure teaching you as well, if you ever stay with me :D

I could also teach you spanish, and guide you with some special words we use that are very unique in our culture.

If I'm not working, I would be delighted to show you some fantastic places here in Santiago :)

If I cook, I also would love to share breakfast, lunch or dinner with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share the food I cook with my hosts, my couch, my bathroom, and some awesome tips about the city. We can also play games, watch movies together at night, or just go for a walk having a nice talk.
