About Me
Hi!
My name is Camila. I'm a 22 year-old Architecture and Urbanism student from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I believe that what I study or my career does not define completly who I am! So here we go! :)
I am a dreamer and I have a big desire for discovering the world and its peculiarities: know every hidden spot, eat the typical food, talk to the local people, go on crazy adventures, explore the nature, the small villages and the big cities.
I'm into sustainable architecture and social and ecology projects, such as taking care of living beings species that are in danger. I seek to help and put effort on this kind of projects in my life. I also like to develop my creativity drawing and writing things.
I really enjoy cooking and of course, eating. I've been trying to eat healthier and reduce the industrialized food. Recently I addopted a mostly vegetarian lifestyle as well. I feel much better knowing that I'm somehow helping the animals and the world. Even though I choose to eat fish, sea food sometimes! I also practice yoga and I love camping, waterfalls, the sea... Other activities I like are jogging, hiking, dancing, playing games, listening to music, watching series on netflix, going out...
I want to enjoy my life as much as I can and share the best of it with my family and my friends. I'm very connected to them and they're the most special gift to me! I'm always trying to have good energy, good heart and good thoughts!
I'm a person who loves to stay home watching movies and having pasta with wine + chocolate, but who also loves to go out to dance and drink a good beer! And I love some good music!
I am very open to meeting new people! I like to learn new things and I'm an easy-going person who love smiles. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to travel is to live the reality of the place your in. To immerge and get a connection to everything that surrounds you. To know the local people and understand their traditions. To eat the typical food and respect different cultures. Whenever I travel I open my heart and my mind and I discover more about myself. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for that and I'll be very glad to do it!
