Because I believe the best part of traveling isn’t just the places…it’s the people. Couchsurfing gives us a chance to break out of the tourist bubble and actually connect, share, and experience life like a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I packed my bags, followed my instincts, and moved to a whole new country … alone! No detailed plan, just big dreams and a fearless heart. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life (and also where I learned the true value of GPS and Red Bull)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of Portuguese (with some Brazilian slang if you’re up for it!), share stories from life between Brazil and the U.S., and maybe even cook something delicious together …or at least laugh while we try!

I love learning about other cultures, everyday routines, and little life hacks from different corners of the world. Whether it’s a new recipe, a local tradition, or just a different way of seeing things and I’m always curious.
