About Me

I am a freelance writer and translator. I am a sucker for linguistics and love to share about cultural differences. I can spend hours just sharing and comparing languages. One day I'd like to be able to write more about what I have learned through my travels and hopefully make people understand each other better.
All this being said, I am not just a linguistic nerd, I'm a very outdoorsy person and a rock climber, I'll give anything for a good climb or a new mountain to hike. I travel mostly around the idea of going outdoors and looking for new landscapes. Back home, I live in my van for that exact purpose. And let's not forget about food, because I will eat everything on the menu!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of travelling and staying in people's homes instead of hostels because you meet locals and you get to experience a lot more the culture. It's also a great way to meet new people and make friends and that's the essence of travelling in my opinion.

Interests

There are not a lot of things I'm not interested in! Anything that is not listed in my interest is not necessarily something I'm not willing to try. One of the few things that make travelling such an amazing experience is trying new things! So please, suggest away!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rock climbing in Lebanon ❤️

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Quebec French (very different from regular French!) and in exchange there's nothing I love more than to learn new words in an another language.
I'd also love to learn how to cook new things, but also just how people in other countries do their daily things.
It's also fun to share skills. I can teach you how to climb or build a fire, you can teach me how to paint or fish (or whatever you're into!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a nice meal, but I'm also a good dish washer! :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Italy, Laos, Lebanon, Macedonia, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Viet Nam
