Hey! My name's Crow. Currently exploring B.C. for a couple weeks, visiting friends, going snowboarding and cross-country skiing. I'm looking for people to go snowboarding / cross-country skiing with.

I'm an adventurer. When I was 16, I hitchhiked from Ottawa to the West Coast. I haven't stopped traveling since. I rarely stay more than a week in one place. From the time I was a little boy, I always had a sense that the options provided by this society were fake, and that a secret world of authentic experience was being hidden somewhere. It has taken me a lot of searching, but I have found what I was looking for, and discovered what I always sensed the absence of. I'm not searching anymore. I'm doing what I can to create the kind of culture that I want to be a part of.

I've traveled all over Turtle Island (North America, from the Yukon to Tofino to Newfoundland to Chiapas and Guatemala. My travels have given me a great love and a deep respect for this land.

And love to me is not merely a feeling, but a desire to give. The focus of my life is environmental activism. I do my best to fight for the wild, for the water, for the animals, forest, air and Mother Earth. If humanity is to have a future worth living, we must take action now to prevent the degradation of the natural world.

I have lived in various collective houses since 2013, and during that time my roommates and I have hosted many many many many guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began CouchSurfing in the spring of 2010 and since then I've couchsurfed in Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Buffalo, Dallas, Austin, Mexico City, Veracruz, and many other places. Nothing compares to being introduced to a city by someone who knows it well.

I haven't used CS recently. It doesn't seem to be as widely-used as it used to be, sadly.
