I'm a 27 year old living in Donegal, Ireland but hope to travel as often as possible. I am an Animal/Veterinary Physiotherapist. As you can probably already tell, I'm a big animal person.

Despite being woefully unfit, I do enjoy climbing mountains and exploring the overgrown paths in forests. If there's a choice between a well tended footpath and a barely existing dirt trail, I will take the latter. It has led to some scraped legs and wet feet, but it's always been worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My mother was a Couchsurfing host for many years as I grew up, and through it, I've met several interesting people whom I am still friends with today. Unfortunately, I can't offer Couchsurfing in my own home at the moment, but hope to do so in the near future!
Unlike hotels, I believe Couchsurfing can offer a far more immersive experience into a country's culture and its people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader, and will read anything I am recommended. However, my favourite authors are JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, George RR Martin, Cassandra Clare, and Sarah J Maas (you may be recognising a theme at this stage).

I'm not fussy regarding music. I'll listen to just about anything. It really just depends on how I'm feeling.

Movies, I don't particularly have a favourite type of movie. Anything of decent quality, or related to my book choices.

We don't have a tv in the house so I wouldn't watch many tv shows. I do watch Game of Thrones, Witcher and the occasional documentary. I am eagerly waiting for WoT.
