What's up! Carly here. Travel, dancing, relationships and service are the things that bring me the most happiness in life. I also adore good conversation, cooking, sunshine, road trips, sewing, hiking, reading, Couchsurfing, Zumba, laughing, naps, vegetables, change, bare feet, yoga, Sylvester Stallone movies and sarcasm. ;) I keep it pretty chill and simple. Just want to explore the whole world, meet all the incredible people in it and hope to inspire a few others along the way to do the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Strangers are just friends you haven't made yet. ♥

I first joined Couchsurf at 18 because I was trying to make a vacation cheaper, BUT- we had the most kick ass experience I had ever had and I have seriously been hooked ever since! I have since learned the difference between vacationing and traveling, and think CS is one of the best ways to truly travel. It is such a vulerable, beautiful way to meet people, help out other travelers, change people's perspectives that anyone who wants to do si is a serial killer, and just hang with some bad ass surfers living that CS lifestyle who understand the deeper meaning of all of this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the head choreographer in Fiji for a special needs school invited to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Hibiscus Festival- the biggest festival in the South Pacific Islands!

Tracking down a childhood neighbor's family in Argentina who got deported when I was a kid and spending a week with them - 10 years later.

Hiking through Nepali mountains while getting slapped in the face by ganja plant after ganja plant ;)
