I am very interested in music (all styles, but especially Singer-Songwriter / Rock / Alternative / Metal). I listen to a lot of audio-books (fiction and non-fiction, especially popular science, ethics/philosophy and history). Every now and again I write essays. In summer, I like to hike. I am a vegetarian, a non-smoker, a non-drinker, and an Atheist. My opinions are conservative on some issues and liberal on others - I don't fashion myself as belonging to any group or movement. I take independence very seriously and consider myself open to all new ideas.
