About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm just attempting to settle down here! :)

ABOUT ME

"Carlo Alberto is the last candid soul of the Occident" - A friend of mine.

Who am I?
I'm a dreamer. An optimist (at a very hateful level), spontaneous boy that can't lie. A little bit crazy, i'm the middle between a clown and a child, heavily afflict fromt the Peter Pan syndrome.
Egocentric (as all the actors), ironic and with a huge imagination.
I love to collect smiles and to unsettle lives, continuously changing the road of my destiny and organizing surprises for the people that make me feel good.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was 7 years old, I planned a trip to Paris with my parents. France, Eurodisney... I was very excited.
The evening when we had to depart, we had to go to train station. My father call a taxi, and we go waiting in street...
We wait, wait, wait, and then... the taxi pass without stop. We go to bus stop, with all the luggages, and wait, wait, wait... no buses.
It was late, we could miss the train; my parents were upset, and me, a 7 years child, was sad thinking at the lost vacation.
Then, a young couple at the bus stop who hear our grumble, offer to drive us and our luggage to the train station, so we can reach the train in time.
We arrive, we thanks a lot the young couple, my father offer to them the money for a dinner and a movie.
I was impressed: unknown people who help each other, with a lot of smiles in the air... whoa, the world had to be this way.

If I were a superhero, this would be the origins of my power. My radioactive spider, my gamma ray, my super-soldier serum.
But I'm not a superhero (damn!), so this is only the origins of my optimism, my love for the neighbour and my faith in karma.

I think I'm very lucky, I found a lot of similar people that make me believe in the human kind... but I don't know why, this episode is a memory so clear in my mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard of CouchSurfing.org different years ago, and I've been immediately fascinated from the idea.
But I've always though I had to host to be registered, because it seems unfair travel and be hosted, without host (I'm still living in my parent's house, and I can't).

But a few weeks ago, talking with a friend I discover it's not obligatory, it's also possible to partecipate at events, parties and activities, helping surfers in my city, and many other ways to contribute.

But as soon as I will have a home, I'll prepare a host room, ready to welcome all the CouchSurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just arrived, I'm filling my profile!

Interests

I love theatre, in all of his forms.
But I'm full of enthusiasm that I share in many channel: movies, comic books, music, videogames, photography...
and i'm always ready to discover new passions!
