About Me

I'm a Venezuelan student getting my Masters at Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona State University). I went to law school in Venezuela and played/toured with a couple of bands. I play rugby for my school and after business school I would like to work in the sports industry. Living in the U.S. and making the most of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel the world and meet new people. I've been to many countries and I believe that being in hotels can take away from an authentic experience.

Interests

Music! In any shape or form.

Traveling and everything it involves: trying new food and drinks, new dances, different weather, learning languages, etc.

Baseball: I interned with the Cincinnati Reds and I'm passionate about the sport. I enjoy watching/playing any sport really.

Hiking, kayaking, walking around, let's do something fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like everything, and I mean everything. I've seen anything from Demi Lovato to Slipknot in concert, I enjoy electronic music and acoustic guitars, concertos and big band, it all depends on the mood.

Movies: Documentaries! Crime dramas, real life, sometimes comedies.

Books: Anything historical, not really into novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the past year I went skydiving during an Arizona sunset, biked down a mountain near Machu Picchu, and experienced an All-Star week in Cincinnati.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught percussion to kids throughout college so if you want to learn some basics on reading music or want to go into some jazz drumming I can definitely teach you. I can also play guitar/bass, and many latin percussion instruments. I can teach you how to make Venezuelan arepas, which are a life-changer.

I love learning new languages and hearing new accents in the languages I know. I enjoy listening to new music or just learning random facts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an awesome pub trivia teammate! I'm not a great cook but I can make arepas for you or some variation of a plantain dish from my hometown.

I have a great sense of humor and I'm always up for doing something so I could push you to make that hike you've always wanted to do!
