Carly, 26yrs. I was born in London and grew up in Sheffield (Northern England). I work in IT and I absolutely love languages. In my spare time I like to cook, attend language exchanges with other native Spanish speakers and I also have an interest in photography and photo editing. I am an open minded person and enjoy self-development content based around personal wellbeing, travel, health and diet. I love learning more about different cultures/traditions around the world. I am an intermediate Spanish speaker and love everything about Spain! I have been to Alicante, Malaga, Marbella, Barcelona and Terrassa. In November 2018, I spent a week in Tabaiba/El Rosario, Tenerife - Islas Canarias 🌴

More recently, in April 2019, I visited Castilla y León and spent the week in Valladolid whilst taking a couple of days out to explore Segovia and Madrid!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I have always been fascinated by different cultures and languages, so it's refreshing to come across a website that brings the world together.

I know a guy called Luke Smith and he travels around the world on various Couchsurfing adventures. His adventures have inspired me to open my mind to the world that most people don't see.

Also, I came across Couchsurfing again at an International Language Exchange in Sheffield, and I can see that this is becoming more and more popular. Why wouldn't it be? It's just amazing!

I've done all of the boring bits in life (getting a degree, buying a house etc), so now I wish to see more of the world.
