Overview
About Me
I live in a small town in the southern state in Brazil with my 5-year-old son. Ever since I was very young I remember having this dream of traveling the world. I managed to do some traveling, then I had my child and decided to dedicate more time for him. Now, that he has grown a little, I am able to focus on my dream again. I will be traveling alone while he can be spoiled by my parents for a while! :)
Well, when I meet people, I am usually shy at first, but after some conversation, I relax. I enjoy learning about different cultures and I love listening to all kinds of languages, even when I do not understand a word.
The world fascinates me. I think there is so much to explore. I have so much to learn and I am grateful life has given me opportunities for that.
I still believe in humans, in their power to be honest and gentle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe in exchanging, in learning from other people.
Humans are so diverse and we have so much to learn from one another... specially how to be a better person.

I love photography, taking photos, going to exhibitions, learning about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Muse, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Beatles, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Silversun Pickups, Ben Folds, Belle and Sebastian, Julieta Venegas, Led Zepelin, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Pepers, The Strokes, Rock and Roll in general, and also some jazz. And other Brazilian bands.
There are so many movies that I love, but I have a terrible memory for names. French movies, Argentinean movies, Brazilian movies, Independent movies, some cheesy romance, but mostly drama.
12 Years a Slave, The Constant Gardener, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Revolutionary Road, Labor Day, El Secreto de Sus Ojos, Incendies, The little Death, Deux Jours Une Nuit, etc, etc, etc
I also love watching TV shows - Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, House of Cards
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think being alive is amazing. Amazing is complex because it depends on our point of view. Having a child, for instance, is pretty amazing, but I am sure this is not what the website expects me to write.
I've had my share of camping and I think it is pretty amazing.
I lived in the USA for 10 months working as an au pair and got to travel to many places there. It was a great experience.
