Overview
About Me
My name is Carole I'm 25 and French.
I would describe myself as a very social and happy-go-lucky person. My friends tell me that I'm chatty and quite adventurous. I have many hobbies. While traveling, I take a lot pictures and I draw. I recently discovered surfing and became obsessed! I'm still a beginner but now I want to practice a lot. I also do climbing and yoga back home when I find time to take care of my mind and body.
I'm curious by nature so I love discovering new things and I get easily interested. You can learn so much every day and I'm enthousiastic to be part of the great school that is life! I'm always looking for meeting sweet souls and sharing some good vibes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My mojo : everything is better when shared. Humans are social creatures and as one of them I feel the need to connect. One thing I love about couchsurfing is that it is a good way to do that with people you wouldn't be able to meet in the daily life.
I live for deep conversations, I live for storytelling. Everyone, everywhere will have something to share with you, so with little chance, we might be able to meet and later to exchange our vision of the world!
I really wish to be a couchsurfing host one day, I will be once I have my own place. :)
Interests
I'm a big 80's fan, I'm collecting polaroids, vinyls and vintage clothing. And I like to read, I like romance a lot but I'm open to anything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in 2019, I did Puglia by feet with the backpack. We made 250kms made of heat, sweat, and wild camping during 15 days. This trip changed my perception of travel forever. I've never thought about living such a big adventure with so little preparation, and also I never found myself capable of doing something like this!
In 2021, I volunteered 10 month for the Italian branch a NGO that enabled me to live so many amazing experiences.
- I was living in Rome, in a house with 4 other girls from Europe! We spend so much time together, looking back those were precious moments
- I took part of the International Soup Festival of Rome. Yes, soup! I helped in the organization and I also cooked a soup! I never though I would be the winner of this year! That made me the happiest I've ever been
- I organized a Living Library with 25 participants of a EU project coming from Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria and Hungary! The final product was a huge success and everyone part of this experience said that it was unforgettable!
- I coordinated a workcamp in Piemonte, the north of Italy. We were 8 international volunteers helping people with disabilities. This experience was so rich on so many levels!
In 2022-23, I traveled more than 200 days away from home !
You can find the detail of my itinerary at this link (it's a cool website to plan a trip btw) : https://planificateur.a-contresens.net/itineraire/344723
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good wine and good vibes, a good vegetarian diner, if you let me cook. Chats about everything and nothing but especially travel and life anecdotes.
For some reasons I know a lot about astrology so I could do your birth chart if you are interested!
