Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy different kinds of music according to the occasion. At home, I love listening to soulful artists like Adele, Joss Stone, although I can enjoy some movies' soundtracks and current radio songs, I also enjoy listening to rock every now and then. I love movies and Im currently on a softer cinema moment, enjoying more romantic comedies (such as Something got give, A good year, Its complicated, Begin Again) and musicals, although I do like stronger and deeper movies. Netflix wise I've been watching Sherlock, Stranger Things, Orange is the new Black, although my favorite TV series will always be Friends (: And well, I study literature, so it's quite hard to choose favorite books or authors! Perhaps we better talk about it through coffee ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried out for The Voice, while living in the US. Music was never a full commitment, but it's always been a passion and I wanted to see how it was. Although I didn't get through, not even to the broadcasted part, I experienced an awesome rush while performing and I did make myself and my parents proud for the courage it took for trying (:

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher, currently working with young children, so it's easier for me to see that everyday is an opportunity to learn and share what you know. I think it's important to value what we have to share and to always be open to new ways of thinking, new knowledge, new people, new experiences. There is a saying in Brazil that could be translated as: what you take from this life is the life that you live (O que se leva da vida é a vida que se leva). So my advice would be to be kind and be open, every person has something beautiful to share and this life can be amazing if you know how to enjoy the ride (:
