Overview
About Me
I love to travel when I can (I've lived in 5 different cities in two different countries until now) and I love to meet interesting people. I'm a very practical person, not picky with food (I love to try new flavors) and I don't need too much to be happy. The best program for me when I'm travelling is still walking the streets seeing people and places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm at Couchsurf to travel cheaper and meet people! When I go to some new place I like to see the real place and not just the touristic spots. So couchsurfing is a very good way for doing that.
**Important note: for me, Couchsurfing is NOT a dating app. When I want that I use Tinder.
Even though I don't have too much experience abroad I have visited many places in Brazil. You can ask me for advices if you're going there and need some. I lived in Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and currently, I live in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.
However, I also lived in USA for about a year in Orono, ME, and then moved to Berkeley, CA, for a Summer internship. While in US, I visited several cities like NYC, Boston, Philladelphia, Washington D.C., some places in Maine like Portland, Candem, Bar Harbor and Rockland. And some very far away places like Hawaii (Oahu and Big Island) and Cancún, México!
Interests
I like to draw, listen music, watch movies (I haven't had enough time to watch everything I want so I have a list! Really.), make friends and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently, I am in love with Mia Couto's books ("Terra Sonambula" is my favorite one until now but I am reading "E se Obama Fosse Africano?").
I cannot choose a favorite movie but I certainly like "Cadillac Records", "La Vita e Bella" and "Inception".
And I like good music, doesn't matter the rhythm (coincidentally or not I usually like strong woman voices).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built a house for a family (not alone offcourse! haha If you know the NGO called Teto you know what I'm talking about. But if you don't, you have to take a look in this: http://www.techo.org/paises/us/).
Teach, Learn, Share
Travelling is a learning experience for me. I think it should be a birthright in every country. When you open your mind to go to different places and meet people you can truly understand what it means to be human (but you have to open your mind...).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook! So I can make some Brazilian food for you to try.
