HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By offering a friendly face and a (slightly uncomfortable) couch! These days its a bit harder to me to host, but I can often meet up, have coffee and do a bit of tour guiding. Especially if you like dog walking, then I have 2 slots every day when you can join me and my staffy on a walking tour of the city/ lush parks and countryside nearby.

Interests

Smiling,and also the occasional giggle. Walking my dog in pretty places. Adventuring. Circus, Juggling, Dancing (especially the funny kind), Craft esp. making clothes, listening to music, relaxing, trying to play the ukulele, watching films, sleeping.

Music: Old school Rock and roll, 3rd wave ska, new school swing and a little bit of lots of other stuff

I would really like to swap skills, ideas and bad jokes with people.

Project management/ Producing

I'm a fairly experienced producer/ project manager for the arts, and am pretty good with advice as to setting up and managing projects. My background is mostly the arts, but that extends to charities/ businesses etc. More than happy to help talk through a business plan or help you work out your logistics.

Craft

I love making stuff. Especially cool stuff. And I love when other people make stuff. Especially cool stuff.

I make clothes and can teach the basics of skirts and hippy pants very quickly if you would like to learn!

I would love to learn about any craft that you can do, from the brilliantly useless to the super practical.

Philosophy

I have a masters in philosophy but I'm not really into the academic side of it. My history of philosphy is, em, patchy, so I don't count myself any sort of expert, but I love sharing ideas and listening to new perspectives, especially when it comes to the mind, perspective, ethics and stories.

Movement and Dance

I would love to learn more about stretching/ movement/ dance as i think dancing is one of the most beautiful ways to express yourself and damn fun too! Please come and teach me!
