I am a student in UX Design in Stockholm. Before that i studied Biomedical Engineering in Lisbon. My biggest passion is travelling and meeting new people who can change my mind about everyday things. Debating all kinds of topics, books, interests, art etc...
I also work for a TEDx event-organization based in my university in Lisbon as a designer as i am very passionate about the concept of ideas worth sharing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing so i can live the true experience of a city when i visit it. With locals i can avoid typical touristic places and be shown the truly everyday life of every new place i stay at.
I haven't been everywhere, but it is on my list !!

Unfortunately, i cannot yet host couchsurfers as i still live with my parents and we have no spare rooms :(
I will, however, be happy to show you the in and outs of my beautiful hometown Lisbon, Portugal.

Interests

I am very passionate about many fields which turns into a difficult everyday struggle to pursue them all ! I love learning about neuroscience, psychology and philosophy and am infinitely astonished with what we have and still will conquer in these fields ! I am an absolute enthusiast in all forms of art which is what always attracts me the most from city to city. Photography, Drawing, Sculpting, etc... I have always loved stereograms and wish to produce some myself one day ! From yoga and meditation to running and swimming, my weekly interests and activities expand enriching me in every way i can find :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have volunteered as a teacher in a primary school in Indonesia where i met the most amazing group of people - other volunteers- and forever changed my view on the world and my purpose here :)
There, i climbed a 6 thousand meters vulcano, jumped from cliffs, ate delicious food and even broke my nose and tooth in an unfortunate accident. I would do every single thing all over again !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some of the portuguese culture and gastronomy. I am vegetarian and can cook very delicious amazing dishes inspired from asian and mid eastern cuisines as well :). I can help with design or IT problems if they are simple, as i am an undergrad engineering student :) But most of all i hope i can share my view of the world and let it be changed by my hosts values and beliefs :)
