We enjoy simple living. We love the gift of every sunrise and healing energy of Lake Michigan. We practice gratitude a day at a time and enjoy experiencing life with family and friends. Some of our interests include music, camping, kayaking , and supporting our SLO food friends CSA .

We are on couch surfing to share and learn. We believe we contribute to world peace by engaging with people around the world. We believe people who consider couch surfing are adventurous, caring, thrifty, friends we've not yet met.

Cooperatives. Horses. kayaking. Woodworking. Garden/organic farming. music. Coffee shop community. Farmers markets home cooked meals at the table with friends. Being grandparents is by far the biggest joy of life! Building community in our small Midwestern town brings satisfaction.

Honoring the heartbeat within us all . We read together and enjoy cookbooks, biographies and anything related to permaculture. Being Flynn is the movie we borrowed from the library most recently. We like the many stories of author Kent Nerburn . The last concert we saw was Amos Lee . Last book read was Braiding Sweetgrass.

Recently we e completed a 3 year course titled Spiritual Deepening for Global Transformation. We think it's amazing that we love each other and ourselves and we are loved by so many people.

Pretty simple people with no intention to teach anything though we do teach people how to treat us by how we treat them so....we teach peace! We are open to learning from this experience and sharing openly and honestly as we willingly open our home.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Positive energy and honest conversation. We work hard and play hard. We have a spare bedroom with a twin bed (our granddaughter uses the room on Wednesdays). We have one couch. We have towels., sheets, pillows and blankets.
