Overview
About Me
I'm a young Montrealer who loves her city and travelling as well. Ma langue natale est le français québécois, fait que tu peux m'écrire en français si t'es à l'aise / si ça te facilite la tâche!
I love weird landscapes and I have a fascination for odours. I like to try weird food combinations, to take pictures of boring things, to make lists and to pet dogs (even though I'm allergic to them :( )
I'm a graphic designer! Have a look at my work here : catherinedessine.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, because that way, I can learn about a country or its culture from unique perspectives. Because Couchsurfers are open-minded, interesting and curious! Because they are great people to share breakfast with. And I'm happy to host in return when I'm available considering it can be hard to find a place to stay sometimes.
I'll accept to host you only if I'm available and at home, but I'll be happy to let you enjoy your time on your own if that's what you want/need :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of stuff!
I'm an absolute fan of Tarantino, I also love Wes Anderson and the Coen Brothers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the Munich Oktoberfest, swam in the Calanques of Marseille, drove 30km by bike in the desert in Peru, visited LEGOLAND 😎
Teach, Learn, Share
Give me 3 oranges and I might show you some juggling tricks! Also, I would be happy to be part of an artistic project -or any kind of project- if you need help.
Even though a bunch of bars and restaurants closed down around Montreal since the pandemic, I still know a couple of great places to hangout! If I have time I'd love to show you around :)
My main goals right now would be to improve my spanish skills, work on my graphic design techniques, find new places to hangout in Montreal and try new food! I love learning random facts as well.
