ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I am a contemplative, philosophically minded explorer of ideas! Someday, I would like the same thing to be said about my relationship to the physical world. I am an adventurer, who, admittedly, runs out of steam pretty quickly because of my highly charged enthusiasm for everything I investigate. I am definitely a giggler, and I love spending time with anyone who who is open to spontaneous giggle fits. About 80% of my energy can be spent on other people and the outside world, the rest I tend to spend on recouping and regrouping. I am first generation American (hailing from an AMAZING Russian-Ukrainian Jewish immigrant family). I love to cook healthy food! Anyone who stays with me will get a delicious meal out of it for sure!

"To understand is to transform what is" -- I aim to continuously learn and fervently play an active role in creating my world view.

I find that reading life as if it is a novel rich with meaning is the key to happiness. Create your own story.

兴趣

I spend my time teaching, reading, cooking, exploring the world of ideas, meditating, doing yoga, going on hikes, drawing, and listening to music. However, I am definitely an extrovert who highly values socializing with close friends and new acquaintances alike. My time as a teacher has been one of the most formative experiences of my life, and I like to think that what I learned as a teacher has helped shape and emphasize the finer parts of who I am.
