Overview
About Me
I'm a South African student who has moved to the beautiful coast of La Ciotat to teach English for seven months. While I am abroad I really want to travel and meet as many new people as I can, as well as immerse myself in new cultures, and try new things. Being a student and a South African, I don't have a lot of money to spend on accommodation so this website could be a complete life saver!
Here's to travels and new experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why I'm Couchsurfing? Hmmm...I guess I just want to be able to experience the benefit of traveling places without being impaired by high costs of accommodation. Couchsurfing also allows people to experience different ways of life and to meet interesting new people, as well as experiencing the real way of life in a certain place instead of a romanticized version created by touristic corporations. So i simply want to experience the real world and meet new people and perhaps share some South African knowledge at the same time.

Traveling to France to teach English for seven months and trying to explore as much as possible, as well as experiencing new and different things :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of my beautiful South Africa, as well as some traditional recipes, and of course some of the Afrikaans language ;) I have a few funny stories to throw into the mix too. And finally, when I travel back to South Africa, my hosts are welcome in my family home if they ever come to SA and need a place to crash. Just as they so kindly did for me.
