Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I've heard nothing but great things about this site so I figured I should give it a try. I'm planing a trip to South America and maybe eastern Europe or Thailand next year....I'd love to make new friends and get a better grasp on the different cultures.

I like all kinds of music. My favorite depends on the mood I am in. Movies: Anything except scary. I can't even handle the trailers to scary movies. Books: Too many great ones. Haven't found the one I can call a favorite.
