Very chatty, bubbly and outgoing. Can speak to anyone about anything! Love, love learning languages. Speak fluent Spanish and French. Portuguese and Romanian are rusty but I can get by.
Love to keep fit - zumba, weights, kettlebells, running..
Love to bake - cookies, brownies, tray bakes, fondant cakes..

PHILOSOPHY

I have received a couple of couch requests and I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to accept as yet. Just not around on those specific dates. But I'm looking forward to hosting my first couchsurfer when the time is right!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - sci-fi, action, drama, comedy.. not massively picky. Just saw the new Star Trek film. Liked it? Nope, LOVED it!

Music - very eclectic but listen to a lot of latin based beats to get ideas for my zumba classes.

Books - must confess that I don't read books very often. Too busy doing lots of other stuff. However, currently immersing myself in Dan Brown's latest. Good read thus far. Watch this space..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Peru in 2009 and worked in a project for children at risk. One boy, Wilfredo, was my particular favourite. Fourteen years old, special needs, deformed feet, he would walk 45 mins every day and back to the project. He had never been to a restaurant before and so one day we went on a cheeky lunch date. I filmed him tasting his first ever milkshake and his reaction was one of pure joy and surprise. Never mind Machu Picchu, that did it for me.

I'm not sure I possess a special skill set but I do feel that one of my talents is bringing groups of people together from varied and diverse backgrounds.
