CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to go on small trips to Asian countries near by. I think I'd like to start with trips to different parts of Japan since I'm a beginner at this!

ABOUT ME

I just want to explore the world as much as I can. I like to try all kinds of activities and I love being adventurous. I'll admit I'm a bit aquaphobic since I can't swim if I can't touch the ground (I will learn to float one day!) but as long as you don't dump me into the ocean without a life jacket and as long as we're not doing anything illegal, I'd love to enjoy all kinds of fun crazy activities!
There's also a quiet side of me when I can just sit down on a desk and let my creative juices flow and do something artistic so it would be great to have a couch surfing friend to share ideas with.
I also love having a good scientific conversation since I'm a bit of a science freak!

PHILOSOPHY

Considering that an average person sleeps about eight hours each day and works eight hours a day for about five days a week, an average person will be working or sleeping during more than half of his/her adult life! That means we have less than half of that time for ourselves. Less than half! Now I for one am not going to waste that precious time being lazy at home, I am going to enjoy the world and make the best out of each day in my life. I always try to be thankful for everything that I have or experienced whether it be good or bad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined this site after hearing about it on a recent trip. I thought it would be interesting so I looked it up and it surely does seem like a lot of fun! As of now I live with my mom so I can't host but once I get more comfortable with this, I might be able to host a few good couch surfing friends that I became aquatinted with.
What I would like to do now, is to find a few couch surfing friends around Asia who can host as I travel. I love traveling and I love food but I don't care where I stay so it doesn't matter if your house is tiny or the couch is uncomfortable, I just hope to find some nice friendly people that can host me :)

Visiting Neuschwanstein in the Bavarian Alps of Germany. The scenery in front of my eyes as I was going up the mountain was like something I've never seen before; beautiful wildlife, and an emerald-torquoise green lake. The castle itself was simply breathtaking inside and out, it takes you back into time!
