ABOUT ME

I love life, I love people and I love throwing those together and seeing what happens. I love reading on rainy days and I buy more books than I should. I love good company, good food, good music and good wine. They make for some interesting times. I love meeting new people and learning as much as possible. I am a creative writer, academic and student. I believe that we should all be intersectional feminists. I believe in telling stories and listening to stories. Each person we brush up against becomes another part of our story tapestry.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are not born with any set goal, mission or destiny but that what we do every day and every decision creates and moulds who we become. We are constantly changing and becoming and we choose who it is we want to be. Realising that we are free is so important but realising with that, that we are responsible for everything that is caused by our decisions is as important. For this reason I constantly want to embrace my freedom and choose well so that at the end of my life I can be happy with what I've done and learnt in my life, at the same time I realise that all decisions have consequences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm keen to show people around and take them for wine tasting and restaurant/bar hopping, teach them the South African and Afrikaans culture.
