About Me
Hello! I’m a friendly and open-minded man from Lesvos Island. I love meeting new people from around the world and sharing stories, food, and laughter. My home is simple but full of good energy—and I always do my best to make my guests feel like part of the family. I'm respectful, clean, and easygoing. Whether you need a place to rest or someone to show you hidden gems of Lesvos, you're welcome here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is about connection, not just destinations. Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to exchange cultures, ideas, and experiences. Hosting travelers allows me to share the beauty of my island and learn from others' journeys. I want solo travelers to feel safe, relaxed, and respected in my home—like they're staying with a trusted local friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music that speaks to the heart—sometimes it's traditional Greek, other times it's soft acoustic, jazz, or even international songs with deep lyrics. I also love instrumental music: the soothing strings of a harp or lyre, the gentle tones of the piano, and the earthy, soulful rhythms of Native American music. Music sets the mood for life: I often cook or relax with background tunes that make the moment feel special.
When it comes to movies, I love real stories—films that make you feel something. A good drama, romantic comedy, travel adventure, or documentary always grabs my attention. I’m also drawn to philosophical and thought-provoking films, like The Matrix, that make me reflect on life and ideas. I enjoy foreign films that show different cultures and ways of living, and I’m always up for watching something beautiful with meaning, especially with someone who enjoys a cozy night in.
Books? I read to learn and to dream. I enjoy books about life, philosophy, love, travel, and personal growth, and I have many books at home on all kinds of topics. I’m especially drawn to Greek and Chinese philosophy, including Taoism, as well as writings on yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and tantric philosophy. I also love exploring books about health and self-improvement, as I enjoy learning new ways to grow and live well. A good book with a deep message always stays with me, and I think sharing favorite books—or even reading a few pages together—can be a beautiful way to connect.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was welcoming a traveler to my home and sharing a quiet night swimming in the natural hot springs near Polichnitos. We also went walking and trekking along some beautiful paths, enjoying the island’s scenery and fresh air. We watched the stars together, talked about life, and savored the peacefulness of the surroundings. Moments like that remind me how powerful simple connections can be—and why I love hosting so much. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where memories are made and friendships begin.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe every meeting is an opportunity to teach, learn, and share. I love sharing my culture, cooking skills, and stories about life on Lesvos. I can teach tango, bachata, salsa, and Greek language—I also teach Greek online through Preply. I especially enjoy cooking and can make traditional Roma pizza, among other dishes. At the same time, I’m always eager to learn from the experiences, traditions, and recipes of my guests—I love discovering ethnic dishes from all over the world. I also enjoy doing yoga sessions together.
Together, we create a space where knowledge flows both ways, friendships grow, and moments become unforgettable
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring an open heart and a genuine desire to connect. I’m happy to share stories about life on Lesvos, cook traditional Greek meals, and offer a friendly ear for meaningful conversation. I love exploring new places, so I’m always up for an adventure, a quiet walk, or going out for coffee or to a taverna together. Respect, kindness, and good vibes come naturally—I believe every stay should feel like visiting an old friend.
