ABOUT ME

I'm scared of blank, all-about-you, describe-yourself boxes on online forms. I'm from little, wee New Zealand, am currently teaching in english in Japan. at the moment i want to see more places, meet more people, learn some things, try my hand at new skills and make some cool stuff. nice to meet you too.

less of a philosophy, more of a way of doing things. i try to be respectful of other's point of view, try to form an opinion after carefully reviewing the information available. i also try not to be a dick.

due to me working at the moment I currently host people wanting to visit/pass through my little town on the inland sea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't used CouchSurfing.com to surf before.

have couchsurfed a couple of times before, and have hosted some couch surfers at a previous house and have hosted a few couchsurfers at my aparmtent.

I have a wide-ranging taste in music, i would like to say i'll give anything a shot. I like reading (though i don't read as much as i would like to) current favourite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Murakami Haruki and Jorge Luis Borges. and i'm pretty easy to please for watching movies, though my favourite directors are Wes Anderson and Michel Gondry.
