I grew up in Washington State. I really like getting out of the house, being outside, meeting new people, and seeing/learning new things. Currently, I'm attending school for Chemical Engineering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch Surfing seems like a good way to see the world through other people's eyes-- and perhaps to pass on that vision someday, too.

Interests

Hiking, reading, writing, learning, good conversations-- well, anything, really. But especially just being outside and enjoying life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Well, for the past six hours I've had Tchaikovsky's 1812 Festival Overture pounding through my head, if that's anything to go by.

Movies:
Oh, I can never decide.

Books:
Again, I generally prefer the older ones. Mark Twain is good, and so is Oscar Wilde. I (somewhat) recently discovered Cobbes Anatomy-- which is ridiculous, and I don't think I've ever laughed at a book so much. Other than those, I enjoy poetry by Keats and Pope.
