I am Ghanaian lady of 49 years, a Ghanaian lady who is noted to be hospitable, friendly,welcoming and able to create with determination and perseverance.
I like sharing ideas and known to be a woman of culture.
We run a non-profit organisation and through it's established school. We support the brilliant but needy, deprived vulnerable children in Offimso and its surrounding communities.
The school is a low cost and free private one that serves the poor,advantaged and the disadvantaged people in the various communities in Offinso Ashanti Ghana West Africa.
I am a mother of five(5) children; four(4) boys and a girl as well as adopted ones. I am a social worker and a teacher by profession. I work with my lovely supporting husband living together at the school.
I started hosting volunteers as far back as 2006 and has since hosted about twelve of them from different countries.
I am a very hard working,selfless, dedicated, focused, visionary, hospitable welcoming and many more.
We operate from Nursery age(2-4),kindergarten (4-6),Primary (6-12) and Junior High School (11-16).
- We give after school service to our children with special needs
- Our final year students are put in boarding house for special classes

We offer the following subjects and therefore request for your assistance:
1. English Language ( Language skill development, Mathematics, French,General Science, Poems and Rhymes,Songs and other extra curricular activities

Other Activities Undertaken are;

- Skill training workshops for our teenage mothers,single parents as well as parents and guardians of our wards. This initiative is to help them to be self reliance and dependant.

- We also give financial support to our teenage girls under apprenticeship

-Health education,we organise health education periodically and renew clients health insurance cards where necessary. Girls club of the school sometimes are issued sanitary items example sanitary pad to support their health matters.

- Educational support ,through the organisation,we can boost of supporting brilliant but needy, deprived and other children to acquire quality formal education. At the moment we have 52 vulnerable children out of 268 who are orphans and others from very poor homes. We offer them free education, provide stationery,uniforms,free lunch,furniture, counselling and care support.

- Field visits: we need volunteers to help carry out the following;
1. Monthly community clean up exercise
2. Visit homes of our clients to check on their welfare and encourage them to pursue.
3. Help undertake some forms of field trips(educational excursion)

Projects;
We have established a school project to give care and support to our clients until they become self dependent right from Nursery:
- Plans to establish a vocational centre to train or help our clients acquire skills for a living in order to be dependent when the school block is completed to get enough rooms
- Plans to establish a standard Daycare centre, an ICT and Science Laboratories as well as a Library.

Target Audience;
1. Deprived/vulnerable children from age 2
2. Guidance,host mothers, parents of our clients
3. Deprived villages and communities in Offinso.

Volunteers who can teach English and other curricular subjects and engage extra curricular activities to share what is learnt, impact to children and help raise them to become responsible leaders and self dependence are most welcomed. We would like to work with friendly ,dedicated, hardworking, easy going etc.
