I come from à town between St Etienne and Lyon, but I've lived in Normandy for 6 years. I Did some volunteering after that in France, Poland , Germany and India. I literally felt in love with India, Indian culture and languages X)

I've worked a lot as a volunteer , in farms, festivals, teaching , animation, mainly through woofing, workaway, between 2 job contracts

Most than an "eco-friendly " person, I feel deeply close to nature and simple life, I love woofing opportunities for that .

Now because of health issues ,I'm working on what I can do as a job which suit with my health issue.

Saint Etienne is not the most turistical city of France but it has it's charm and it's still authentic !;)

Because it totally makes part of my vision of living, working, travelling, human interractions...

I started with Couchsurfing in Southern France 7 years ago and since then always try to use it whenever I am in a new coutry or just a new french town. I also try to join some couchsurfing events wherever I am :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

All the travels I did and all the wonderful people I've had the chance to meet :)

I was part a wonderful group of "positive" militants and happy fighters in Caen, my former town in Normandy. we organized events to raise awarness about lot of things. That's how we organized the first "Disco Soupe" in Caen, a worldwild movement aiming to save food & to raise awarness about food waste.

The principle is to save fruits / vegetables/bread " from the bin " by asking supermarkets/groceries /producers to give . one or 2 days before you go to pick the donations saved ... Then you build a temporary kitchen on a public place ; you call for people walking by to participate in the peeling/cutting session on several tables where everybody mix and meet... while a team is preparing a meal that 's going to be served for free or free price to absolutely anyone. All this with music !
don't need to be an NGO, eveybody can organize it !
