Overview
About Me
I am a third year college student with a passion for photography, outdoor adventures, and great coffee! I'm currently majoring in Psychology and minoring in Anthropology with the intent of becoming a licensed mental health care practitioner or a therapist for children with disabilities. I would also love to one day own/operate a community coffee shop, and I occasionally dabble in event planning/wedding photography.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't." -Bill Nye
Interests
When I'm not sinking into the most comfortable chair in any given cafe, or attending classes in Orlando, you can find me and my camera just about anywhere with a view.
My goal in life is to travel as far as I can, as often as I can, and to learn as much as I can from the people I meet along the way.
Life motto: Be Here Now
(I have it tattooed on my arm, just in case I forget... which I do... a lot.)
- photography
- thrifting
- traveling
- outdoor activities
- hiking
- surfing
- local culture
- coffee shops
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently re-reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
Some of my favorite movies are Life of Pi, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Woman in Gold, The Artist, Mr. Nobody
I'll listen to just about anything but country and heavy metal. I love indie/folk music; my go-to would be anything with acoustic guitar. Tame Impala and Led Zeppelin are two of my favorites.
I also enjoy singing and playing the piano, and I'm attempting to learn guitar... so if you're interested in having a jam sesh, count me in!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned how to surf in Hawaii.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to TEACH others the importance of hollistic living and the peace that it brings.
I want to LEARN more about local communities and what makes them unique and wonderful.
I want to SHARE my time, my laughter, and my friendship with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to take photographs with you or of you! Photography is such an important part of my life; the relationships I've formed while working with other artists and local community members are some of the strongest that I have.
