About Me

I would say myself as an introvert person. Currently doing my second gap year in the Netherlands after completing my master's in the U.K. while seeking opportunities for my PhD. Traveling is my absolute biggest passion so far in life. Getting to know people is a good way to travel, to expand my horizon and knowledge, that is the primary reason for me being on Couchsurfing. I like reading, which I think is an another way of traveling. I like music, music accompanies and heals people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes I think travellers are passengers in a train called life. They come across you, have lovely conversations with you, share beautiful dinner with you, but only for a short span of time, then they get off. But they keep coming and going, on Couchsurfing you can always meet someone to join in as a passenger of your life. (I don't know if this makes sense, hahaha!!!)

Interests

I do not used to cook and shower without listening to the music;

I am always open to try different food.

I have not tried long distance hiking, but would love to try someday;

You can see people saying goodbye with tears at the departure gate, but also you can see people hug and kiss merrily at the arrival hall, airport is such a place that mixes people's feelings that you cannot easily observe in other places;

I like reading, but I perceive that talking to and getting to know people is more stimulating; talked to a visitor in the Opera House who is feeding the seagull with his brunch; to a monk who is meditating in a temple in Thailand; to a hamburger shop owner in Vietnam who survived from the second world war as a spy; to a wise New Zealand man who has a decent house but would rather living in his tent with his books. Life gets so interesting once you initiate a conversation.
