About Me
Hello stranger! I'm excited to be a new member of this site and to get to know some people here.
Feel free to ask me anything, I'm an open book :)
So I'm an entrepreneur, having run a few businesses myself over the years, mostly in retail. I'm now working towards a diploma and setting up something called 'cosy spaces', as well as being involved in several local community projects and intending to host workshops. I am also thinking of hosting via Air BnB.
Like most, I am a bit broken and existentially troubled at times, but I'm generally happy and very grateful to be alive. I'm determined to make the most of this brief blip of consciousness. I'm drawn to melancholy and the darker things in life, but also to the natural, mysterious and beautiful.
I've had an incredible year of new connections, always open to meeting weird and wonderful new strangers :)
I sometimes struggle to keep up with messages, so please forgive me if replies take a while, it's tough to balance everything sometimes and there are never enough hours in the day.
I'm polyamorous and help to run a support and social group for people who are in (or interested in) ethical non-monogamy. I'm also a part of other alternative local groups, aiming to bring people together who may feel alone with their quirkyness.
I may have ADHD! I have many many interests and hobbies, I don't have the time or dedication for many of them! Priorities for me right now are artistic blacksmithing, contact juggling, cello and shibari.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined as I find most people truly beautiful and fascinating, we can learn from and inspire each other in surprising and amazing ways.
I love to host friends and family, so I wanted to broaden to welcoming others into my home. I like the principle of 'gifting', including non-monetised accommodation. I thrive on meaningful connection.
I'm also a keen traveller when I get the chance, and I would much rather stay with someone I can connect with than in a generic hotel.

I love to talk about philosophy and psychology.
I'm opening to learning a little about what you're passionate about and always intrigued into peoples experience of life.
I can teach you a little about lucid dreaming, tarot reading, blacksmithing and more.
Happy to give tours around my little island home when possible, or just give some recommendations.
