About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing the world one day at a time

ABOUT ME

I spent a year traveling around the world and now I have decided to make Sydney my home for the next few years.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life for the smiles it gives me, the lessons I learn and the people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done my share of surfing and now it's my turn to pay it forward and open my home to people traveling the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing experience in the Katoomba NSW Australia up in the Blue Mountains. It was a great experience and I hope all future ones are just like it.
I stayed with Rod while traveling in Perth and he was the kindest most wonderful host I could ever hope for. He went above and beyond the call of duty and I hope to return the favour.

Interests

I am in to health and fitness in the forms of yoga and nutrition. I'm currently working on a masters of exercise science and getting my yoga teacher training certificate as well as working a full time job. I'm busy but manage to still make time for nights out with friends and vegging out on the sofa with a home cooked meal and a good movie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading fiction and a good old fashion romance novel. I'll read anything I can get lost in.
I like to watch everything from comedies to drama.
Music tastes are a little bit of everything so bring your iPod along and introduce me to something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the edge of the cliffs on the Aran islands was amazing. One big gust of wind and I could have been swept over the edge but the thrill of staring out over the ocean was powerful.
Tasmania with my friend Susan was a last minute trip that I wouldn't have missed for the world. I don't think I've laughed so much in my life.
Cappadocia in Turkey was like being on another planet.
The beaches in Thailand were as warm as a bath and as blue and clear as you can imagine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to loan your out lonely planet and send you on your way around Sydney. I will share what I know but I have only been here for a year.
If yoga is your thing then feel free to join me in a practice session. I'm always looking for people to teach and motivation to expand my home practice.
If we happen to be taking a weekend trip while you're staying with us we will try to include you so that you can see the area outside of the city where the trains and busses don't go.
