I have been fortunate enough to travel throughout the northern hemisphere to include Japan, most of Europe and much of the United States. I love experiencing different cultures and meeting new people because everyone has something new to teach me or show me. Right now, I am in the process of pursuing admission to medical school, so I don't have the chance to travel as much as I want. Allowing people to couch surf with me, affords me the chance to meet new people and experience different cultures while I am homebound.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I know traveling can be expensive especially the room and board part of it. I have an extra room. Opening it up to travelers to me is a win win situation because I get to meet new and interesting people from different cultures and ways of life, and I get help save someone else money by offering them a place to stay.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveled through Tuscany with only a backpack full of clothes and my return ticket.
