Hi eveybody! My name is Chiara, I'm 21 years old and I study languages (german, russian and portuguese) at the University of Padua! I really like travelling, meeting new people and experience new cultures. I'm an open minded person with lots of interestes and hobbys. I love spending time with new people and learn new traditions.

Food is one of my passions, I simply love it! I like to cook it, but mostly to eat it. I generally cook italian food, but I'm always looking for new and exotics recepes. When I go out with friends I like eating asian, mexican and indian food.

I collect magnets, my fridge is ful of magnets from every county and city I've been in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea to be hosted or hosting people from all over the world, meeting new cultures. Show my city to others or enjoy my time in new city with the inhabitants. I think Couchsurfing is genial, because it allows people to learn something new, to have fun together and to save money at the same time. I also like new adventures and I like to experiment different situations than those to which I'm accustomed. I'm also very good in adapting myself in new situations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like almost every kind of music except techno and metal music. I've play the guitar when I was young, but now I've stopped doing it, but I would like to do it again. I also like italian music and if you're interested I can show you some very beautiful songs.

Movies: I love Tarantino and Crimies. But also movies about the II World War such as Schindler List, The Pianist and oders. I LOVE Johnny Deep and he's one of my favourite actors.

Books: reading is one of my hobbys and I like almost every genre. I've read lots of Fantasy books, but also novels, crimies and romantic novels. I really like Agatha Christie and I've read almost all her novels, Stephen King, Zafon, Ken Follett and others.
My favorite books are Angela's Ashes from Alan Parker and The Cathedral of the Sea from Ildefonso Falcones.

I can cook for you italian food or tell yuabout my culture and traditions. We can also have some conversation about books, movies, travelling. I can give you some information about the beautiful place I come from: Sardinia.
