About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet and learn from sound engineers and producers around the USA.

ABOUT ME

I have spent the last couple of years traveling and making music. I'm always keen to meet new people and learn from the knowledge they have to offer.
Part of the reason I'm traveling is because I'm searching for a place to settle long term and build a recording studio.
All that aside I'm just a regular earthling.
If any one's interested here's a link to one of my music projects I completed in early 2012, hope you enjoy.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm now/here in no/where.

All hail Eris!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm on the road, but when I'm settled I would be happy to accommodate passing through Salt Spring Island.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I signed up a few years ago, I haven't actually used it, because I've been fortunate enough to have had friends in the places I've gone. Now that I'm traveling through the USA I don't have many connections, so any hospitality would be greatly appreciated.

Interests

Sound production is my number one interest, I would eventually like to learn about sustainable building and permaculture for the day when I have my own plot of land.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm a lover of many genres, but to name a few key artists, Angels of Light, Cannibal Ox, Sonic Youth, Brian Jones Town Massacre, Townes Van Zandt, Tony Joe White, Grave Diggaz, EL-P, Cat Power, Dirty Three, The Black Angels, the list could go on forever.
I also love Comics in particular any thing written by Grant Morrison, Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis. Check out these dudes if you haven't already.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I've had was making a documentary film with a friend of mine in East Timor back in 2005 and 2007, I spent a total of 7 months there and in that time I had my eyes pried open, which led me to see the world in a new and fascinating way. From that time onwards I have never been able to shake the travel bug.
