About Me
Hi guys !
I’m just back from a 1-year-road-trip. I was hosted by a lot of really cool people, and discover couchsurfing was definely the best experience of my whole trip !
Right now, I just went to give back to this amazing Couchsurfing community for all the happiness that it gaves to me while I was traveling alone. I want to keep travelling with you in my place guys!
However, things has a bit changed since I’m back. Firstly I had to start a new job. So basically, after 1 year without job, that a bit tough sometimes for me. So, for now I’m not sure to be able to spend that much times with you and I may come back late at home. My work is totally random. That’s why I prefer last minut request.
Also, if I traveled for one year alone, I live with my boyfriend now. He is pretty new on Couchsurfing experience, but he is very excited to start this new experience.
Everybody’s welcome home, but some informations for you guys : we try to live as much as we can in a sustainable way. So, be ready to recycle, compost, use less plastic … if you don’t know which bin use, please ask ☺
Make sure to close the curtain everynight and to open it every morning.
Oh and … we live in a very charming and modern eco-district, but it’s not in Strasbourg city-center. It’s about 10-20 min far with bus.
If you would like to offer a gift to thank us (you don’t have to but some people like to do it), don’t waste your money for something your not sure about. Organic wine, organic chocolate and crafted beer are always a good choise for us ! or something from your country !
So, a bit more about us. I’m 27, I am a legal expert in a big company (but I’m not as boring as it sounds ;) ). Sebastien, my boyfriend, is a arts teacher. He likes arts, design, photography, movies, comic, etc. and I do too. We also like to travel, to go to museums/exhibitions to meet people, to cook, to socialize, to party, to go out for a beer.
I really appreciate outdoors activities: to hike, to swim in natural lakes or sea, to climb, to ski. I also like festivals, and concerts, especially outdoors.
We just moved to Strasbourg, so we may discover this amazing city and Alsace with you !
Hope you gonna like our flat (and our huuuuuge balcony !!) in our charming eco-district !
Can’t wait to welcome all fellows couchsurfers ! See you
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
" To be local when i am international and international when i am local ".
To me, to travel is more than just "check" all the touristics stuffs. I'm sincerely looking for authentic experiences and meetings, just to understand how people really lives in a city.
Interests
I have interests that are quite various, sometimes contradictory. As much as I like to wander in bigs towns I also enjoy to hike in deep nature. I like beer at the local bar, trying to solve some philosophics issues, but I can’t say “no” to good wines and gastronomy (hey, I am French and Alsatian, both of these activities can take me hours!).
I appreciate to take my time in museums, especially those devoted to modern art. But, where I feel totally happy, it's in deserts and deep nature.
Also fan of some Netflix series, it is nevertheless one of the only moments when you will see me in front of the TV, because I always prefer to get my brain and/or my legs used outside rather than to stay in front of the TV.
I’m used to laugh and smile almost all day, I am open-minded, I rejoice myself often and for little thing. I’m used too adapt very easily to my environment and I am able to get along with very different people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To hike alone (totally) in Death Valley !
spend 4 days in a desert without running water, electricity or signals :) (Uyuni Salar, Bolivia).
(and i realized how the sky is full of stars !)
Have been in the Macchu Picchu almost alone
made a 23 km - hike in one day :) (the Ice line trail on a Glacier in Yoho national Park, Canada)
