About Me
Hey! Mabuhay! Kumusta? I’m Mav. My MBTI is ISFP, and I'm a Libra.
I might seem quiet at first, but once we get to know each other, I can crack jokes and share plenty of stories about where I come from and my adventures.
I love swimming in the ocean/sea (definitely prefer it over pools!), relaxing on beaches, and admiring stunning sunsets—they're absolutely breathtaking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I also love connecting with people from around the world, learning about their cultures, values, motivations, and life experiences. Listening to people's stories and understanding their essence is truly enriching. I hope to visit their countries someday too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to music! By the way, Filipinos are known for their love of singing.
I'm particularly fond of Coldplay and Paramore. I had the incredible opportunity to attend Coldplay's concert here in the Philippines this year (2024), and it was an epic and moving experience.
What keeps me on track and focused for the day ahead? Reading self-help and motivational books. I especially enjoy reading "The Daily Stoic."
I also enjoy watching documentary films, especially those about ancient history and civilizations. And of course, Studio Ghibli films!! <3
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve had the thrilling experience of traveling solo in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long), Japan (Fukuoka, Oita, Nagasaki, Saga, and Kumamoto), and some parts of South Korea (Seoul and Gangwon/Nami Island).
Here in the Philippines, I’ve done some amazing things like:
Canyoneering and jumping waterfalls in Cebu
Swimming with whale sharks in Sorsogon
Climbing Taraw Cliff and enjoying the picturesque view of El Nido and Coron, Palawan
