I am a very laid back, calm, humorous person who loves to travel and meet new people and new cultures. I am well known here in Lahaina, Hawaii as being a very friendly and open person, who is respectful of others, and has a bit of common sense or advice if needed. I am well known for my sense of wit.

I am in my 50's but quite young at heart and in very good shape. I ran the Maui Marathon last year. I like to Surf, Snorkel, Paddle Board, Hike, Fish, and Camp a lot.

I am taking my Walk-About in Europe starting in February for about 90 days.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am a Hawaiian resident of 6 years, and traveling to Europe, (Spain, Italy and Greece), starting in February 2018 for about 90 days, then back to Hawaii. I will be visiting my family in California also.

I will be traveling on military flights for free, but will not be able to give out dates and times of when I will need assistance from the Couch Surfing Community until I reach there. Once I get back home to Hawaii I will be opening up my place for others to Couch Surf.

I like most music, Currently everything from The Revivalists, Portugal the Man, K Flay, to the Eagles; Def Lepperd, and Leanord Skynard.

I read Michael Chricton's "Travels" book about his adventures in making movies and writing books; fantastic read.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Just one eh :)
I took a good friend out for a mystery date this year.
I advised her that we would be gone all day, on her birthday.
That she needed to bring certain items and certain clothes etc.
(A week ahead of time, so her brain could brew a bit...LOL)
Then on her Birthday we woke up and drove to Maalea Harbor, where we boarded a boat and went to Lanai Island for the day. There I rented a Jeep and we drove the island, and scouted beaches and trails and finally arrived at ShipWreck Beach and camped for the day. It was a fantastic trip.
