I’m Chris, a fun and easy going guy from Shropshire in the UK. I love to travel and see the world, there is nothing better than going to new places, seeing new things, meeting new people, eating new foods.
I am interesting to chat to, fun to interact with, good sense of humour, I can laugh about anything . I have an opinion on nearly everything but I’m never argumentative. I love to sight see, love sports, shows, museums, art galleries, eating out at restaurants or local cafes. I want the local input on places, what’s the real vibe of the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and see new things, meet new people. Couchsurfing gives a more real experience, staying with a local than you get in a hotel. It also has the cost benefit that allows you to have more spending money on excursions, food and general living so you can enjoy your trips as much as possible and really get more out of the experiences

Interests

I love walking and exploring new places. I love sports and going to games, in particular NBA, NFL, premier league but am open to any really. I enjoy the theatre and seeing shows. I like live music. I love watching movies. I enjoy dining out and eating at local best grub spots. I enjoy museums and galleries and city tours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge movie buff, I watch so many films. I like them all from comedy to action to thrillers and horrors. I can talk about films all day and love nothing more than a movie marathon. I try and read a few books a year, I do love to read but I find it hard to get the time to devote to a book. But I’m always up for a recommendation if you think there is one I must read.
Music, I listen to a wide range of things from rock to pop to RNB and rap to country and classical. I’d like to learn more about foreign music tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I keep waking up everyday giving me another shot to see some cool stuff and meet some more cool people. I think that’s pretty amazing. It’s hard to say one thing that is amazing, because what’s amazing for me isn’t amazing to others. I was in awe when I saw the Grand Canyon for instance but at the same time there were people in our tour group who were quite underwhelmed by it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I’m fluent in English ha. I work in IT, I’ve done some studying into counselling skills and life coaching so happy to discuss and share what I have learnt there. But in general just happy to chat and share my british experiences and thoughts on things

I’m just a very nice person to be around, fun, funny, respectful, I am very helpful and like to lend a hand with anything if I can do so. I’m happy to bring a gift from the UK if there is anything here you enjoy, last time I visited the US I got asked to bring fruit pastilles with me, apparently they cannot get them there ha.
