Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Upon hearing about couchsurfing I immediately became interested. I love the idea of meeting new people in general and applying to a platform where I am able to sit down and talk with people who have their own experiences that they hold highly. I am more than happy to talk about my experiences and plans! Learning is something i am very passionate about. I am constantly trying to attain information and become educated in areas I am not or even in areas I am not as keen on.

Music, Movies, and Books

My true love is rock and metal, when I branched out to becoming a bit more social I definitely have with my taste in music also. I find that the music that I loved often was a tad depressing and liked the idea of some of the older hip hop and house music introduced to me by my roommates and friends. It presented an uplifting mood that I used to think didn't really exist in my view towards music. I have never been a big movie guy but I'd have to say my favorite is The Usual Suspects. The directing and idea of that movie was so brilliant. It really just threw you for a loop and I loved that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently marks 2 years since my weight loss and transformation journey. I have lost 110 pounds and it changed my life and how I experience it quite overwhelmingly.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very educated in the science, specifically neuroscience. the mind has always been a great interest to me. I aim to help people with mental disorders as well as start my research upon the subject in a lab on campus next year. Building computers is a side job for me at the moment. I have always loved technology and exploiting it to reach new potential. I would certainly love to learn about peoples experiences and interest. You never know when something you have not uncovered can become something you will cherish and pursue. Music holds a special place in my heart, I have multiple tattoos pertaining to songs that have changed the way I perceive life and am happy to share, analyze and listen to them with anyone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My ups and downs, goals and general thoughts on life at the moment. Although I am young, I have been through quite a bit. I have big plans and there isn't anything that will stop me. People often call some of my intentions unrealistic and I tend to brush it off and almost ignore it. Nothing can stop you and your drive to do something. The only one holding back the life or experience you want to taste, is you.
